RL Inventory ("the App") is a private, internal inventory management application developed for authorized members of Hatzolah organizations. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

• Account Information: Name, email address, and organizational role as provided by your organization's administrator.
• Authentication Data: Login credentials are securely handled through Firebase Authentication. Biometric data (Face ID / fingerprint) is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
• Usage Data: We maintain audit logs of inventory actions (additions, removals, transfers) to ensure accountability and traceability within the organization.
• Device Information: Device type (phone or tablet) is detected locally to optimize the user interface. This information is not transmitted or stored on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate you and manage access to the inventory system.
• To maintain accurate inventory records and audit trails.
• To send notifications about low stock levels and expiring items.
• To generate reports for organization administrators.

3. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore) with encryption in transit and at rest. Access is controlled by role-based security rules. Sensitive credentials are stored on-device using encrypted secure storage.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. Data is only accessible to authorized members within your organization based on their assigned role.

5. Data Retention

Your account data is retained for as long as you are an active member of the organization. Audit logs are retained indefinitely to maintain inventory accountability. An administrator can deactivate your account at any time.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting your organization's administrator.

7. Children's Privacy

This App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
